She has been teaching Hungarian language at the elementary and intermediate levels at the Penn Language Center since 1991. Her greatest passion is teaching and developing her students’ language skills and interest in Hungary and Eastern Europe. Her work with students also includes academic advising as a pre-major advisor.
Adrienn earned her graduate degrees at the Eötvös Lóránd University, ELTE, in educational psychology and Hungarian language and literature in Budapest, Hungary. She also received her M.S. degree in historic museology at the same university. She completed her graduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania with a focus on material culture and native language preservation in Hungarian immigrants’ identity development. She continues exploring and researching this topic, both in the US and in the EU.
