Fulbright FLTA Summer Orientation 2019

This August, PLC hosts approiximately 60 foreign language teaching assistants (FLTAs) in preparation for their yearlong studies and teaching experiences. The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, sponsors the Fulbright FLTA Summer Orientation Program at the University of Pennsylvania. In collaboration with the Institute of International Education (IIE), PLC offers an intellectually stimulating program focusing on current trends in language education and technology. In addition, the program will familiarize them with the academic culture of a US campus and introduce transcultural issues.
