Penn Language Center

This course is designed for Persian speaers who cannot easily read or write. Students begin by learning alphabet and reading simple texts infirst semester, and advanced by the end of the second semester to reading intermediate texts, and writing letters and simple compositions. Students are expected to come to the class with the assigned text prepared(30%), general exams (mid-term and final), 50% attendance and participation in the class (20%).
